Tradition two-storey
This project reimagines a traditional two-storey dwelling with a refined, contemporary-classical aesthetic. The redesign enhances the home’s original symmetry and proportions while introducing high-end detailing and a cohesive architectural language throughout.
The front façade retains the original central gable form, now elevated with a clean, restrained portico featuring elegant columns and stepped entry. The arched window above remains a focal point but is now paired with more refined surrounds and matching fenestration throughout the elevation, emphasising verticality and balance.
One of the standout features is the crisp parapet line and deep roof overhang, which introduce a sense of classical grandeur while also adding shadow depth and visual interest. The addition of textured brick panels, arched window reveals, and high-spec external lighting contribute to the home's timeless quality.
The side elevation is expanded with large-format glazing and a generous outdoor terrace, enhancing the connection between the main living areas and the surrounding landscape. Together, these upgrades transform the house into a sophisticated, light-filled residence with a clear architectural identity rooted in Georgian tradition but expressed through a modern lens.
